Blue Heron Trailer Park Traditional Mother's Day Tea

Location: Clubhouse

Date: Sunday, May 10th, 2009

Time: Between the hours of 2 and 4 o'clock in the afternoon.

Details: All guests are invited to bring items out to your trailers and join us in the clubhouse for a lovely tea.

Blue Heron Annual Charity Garage Sale

July 25th, 2009

• To be held in front of the Park near Creek
• Many great items, so come and shop
• Commencing 8:00 am to 3:00 pm

Adult Fun Day

Sunday  August 2nd, 2009

• Shuffle board
• Nufiew horseshoes
• Bacci ball
• Card game

Situated near the outdoor games area.

Bbq and no cooking for anyone but the chef.

Your friends are welcome to join us.

Cost for each game and bbq is $3.00 each and all proceeds go directly to our charity.

Blue Heron Family And Friends Reunion

Saturday August 8th, 2009

• Commencing at 2:00 in the afternoon
• All of our Blue Heron Season Guests are invited along with our own Blue Heron Families
• This will take place under the trees in the front of the Park.
• Each family please bring along with them a salad or desert and your own beverages, plates and cutlery.
• The Sounds of the Summertime Band for Your Added Pleasure.

The menu will consist of:

• Our tradition pig roast
• Corn with plenty of butter
• Burgers & Hot dogs
• Salads
• And most importantly deserts and wonderful sounds

Please do let us know if you can make this occasion as it is a lovely picnic under the shade trees.

Labour Day Weekend

Saturday, September 5th, 2009:

Our very own traveling book sales ladies, Patricia and Helen will travel throughout the Park with a trailer attached to their Golf Cart selling an assortment of books that will delight everyone at a cost of twenty-five cents each along with some old movies for the same price.

Sunday, September 6th, 2009:

Fun Day around the pool, featuring:

• Bingo Game
• Volley Ball Game
• BBQ, etc.
• No need to cook on a lazy Sunday afternoon

Activities commence at two o'clock in the afternoon

Mother’s Day Traditional English Tea

• Commencing at 2:00 in the afternoon until 4:00
• Please do join us in celebration of ourselves along with our Mothers’ and Grandmothers’.  This special event will take place in our Pub style Club House, surrounded with all the grace and charm that is worthy of our lovely ladies, and of course, their mates.
• Our gates will open at 12:30 as we invite our Seasonal Guests the opportunity to bring items to their trailers to prepare in advance for the following weekends opening.  The gates will close again at 4:30 in the afternoon.

Victoria Weekend Is Our Official Opening

• Gates open at 12 Noon on Friday.
• Group camping is welcome in our private tenting area and reservation are now being taken.  All guests must of 19 years of age and over.
• Wood and Ice are available for all guests. $

The Private Tenting Area is located on the property beyond the seasonal guest trailer section.  The tenting area is about a two kilometre drive down the laneway off of Lakeshore Rd.

The Private Tenting Area can accommodate large groups.  The area is divided into two campgrounds by a stream which flows through the park down to Lake Erie.  It is a natural setting away from the seasonal trailer campground.  Camping in the Private Tenting Area is similar to what you would find at conservation areas or group camping at a Provincial Park.

East Campground Features:

• Surrounded by mature trees which provide shading cover for tents and small trailers.
• The ground cover consists of short cut grass without any pad slope.
• Outdoor washrooms but quite modern having flush toilets
• Picnic tables and BBQ’s.

West Campground Features:

• Wide open field with plenty of sun, good for tents right up to large trailers.
• The ground cover consists of short cut grass with a medium pad slope.
• Outdoor washrooms but quite modern having flush toilets.
• Picnic tables and BBQ’s.
• This area is suitable for sports and large group activities.

It gives us great pleasure to host our Gallagher Gathering once again.  We were so exhilarated and touched by the warmth of all of our cousins and aunties here on earth and of course in heaven, we wish to share this time in our lives with more of our cousins. Thanksgiving Weekend

Dear Guests,

We will be celebrating our Thanksgiving Dinner on October 9th commencing at 4:00 in the afternoon.

Please let us know if you will or won't be able to join us and speak with CarrolAnn regarding our menu.

This is a beautiful time of the season where the leaves are falling and we are saying farewell to our summertime friends and preparing for winter vacations.

Don't forget to prepare you RV's for the winters' very cold months ahead and take a few moments to stop and smell the outdoor freshness.

We wish to express our delight in all of our guests and also wish those who are leaving the Park great new adventures and good health.
